The Amazon -- Sacred Valley -- Cusco -- Machu Picchu -- Lake Titicaca
Everyone who loves to travel has one – a ‘bucket list’. These are places we feel the need to see before we ourselves ‘kick’ the bucket. Websites listing ‘Must See’ destinations always include Machu Picchu. We have combined this World Heritage Site with four more exotic locales, which are sure to impress: the Amazon, the Sacred Valley, Cusco and the Uros Islands of Lake Titicaca.
First, we tour Lima and then off to the Amazon staying in a Jungle Lodge where you can hike, paddle through lagoons, and take riverboat rides. After hanging in the jungle, we visit the Sacred Valley exploring the ruins and market of Pisac and much more. Once in Cusco, the Vistadome train will take us 7,793 feet above sea level to Machu Picchu. We complete the trip by going to Puno. Many consider seeing the floating Uros Islands to be as fabulous as Machu Picchu – decide for your self.
For most of us, it will be our only adventure to this part of the world. We will fill it with sites and experiences found nowhere else on earth.
5 spectacular places in 1 trip!
