Our flight brings us into Geneva, where we will travel by bus to beautiful Chamonix. While there enjoy hiking, exploring and the beautiful scenery. There will be two day trips, one to Annecy and another to Lake Geneva. Next we are on to Clermont-Ferrand, a hidden gem in France. The city is a center for lovers of architecture, museums, wine and renowned cheeses. Here we will have a guided tour, including a visit to a volcano. Our next town is Amboise. With its grand château and medieval old town peppered with half-timbered buildings and ancient wine cellars, Amboise is the quintessential Loire Valley town. If you need more convincing—this is where Leonardo da Vinci chose to spend his final years. In Amboise we will have tours of castles as well as wine sampling. We will finish our trip in Bayeux. Bayeux boasts a stunning historic centre as well as its world-famous, UNESCO-listed tapestry depicting the Norman conquest of England in 1066. The city had the good fortune to be swiftly liberated by the Allies in June 1944, but its war museum and cemeteries recall the sacrifices made in these parts. 2 guided tours are included while in this town. We depart from Paris.

Chamonix (5 nights)
- Separate day trips to Annecy and Lake Geneva & Yvoire
Clermont-Ferrand, (2 nights). Stop in Lyon on way.
- Guided tour of Clermont-Ferrand and visit to volcano.
Amboise (2 nights)
- Guided tour of Amboise and the Clos Lucé castle.
- Guided tour of the Chambord castle and Chenonceau Castle. Wine sampling in a local cellar.
Bayeux (3 nights)
- Guided tour by coach of the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy and the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer.
- Guided tour of the Mont Saint-Michel and on to Caen to enjoy a guided tour of the city.
Paris (1 night)
- Spend night in Paris. Depart for home.
- Extension in Paris is available by booking your flight with the tour operator. Your time in Paris will be on your own.

June 1, 2023 = 50% trip fee (unless space is filled)
July 1, 2023 = No refund (unless space is filled)
