Next, the artistic Italian villages of Cinque Terre and we finish in Milan, an alpha global city.

SKIING: https://www.valgardena.it/en/winter-holidays-dolomites/ski-resort-val-gardena/

Val Gardena is a huge ski area in the southern Tyrol area of Italy. There is 500km of groomed slopes and 1200km of interconnected slopes all with cutting-edge lifts. The IKON Pass is valid in Val Gardena while the daily lift rate is about $80/day. Ski Rentals will be offered at a discounted rate.

Skiers come to Italy’s Dolomites to do one thing – ski the Sellaronda! This is the famous 40km circuit from various ski resorts through the spectacularly beautiful Sella massif. It is a right of passage for Italian skiers and Americans find it an epic day they can boast about. Val Gardena is the perfect starting point for the Sellaronda if you are a strong intermediate skiers. Skiers not wanting this challenge will still have a dozen different areas to ski while visiting various villages.

Skiers on the Sellaronda

Non-Skiers will have optional Day Tours including Bolzano, Trentino, Innsbruck and Vipiteno. Details for each Day Tour is TBD and will be priced accordingly. Also, Santa Cristina and Ortisei are idyllic, charming mountain villages close by easily accessible by local public buses. Passes are available at all hotels to ride free of charge. Know that great care is put into making the non-skier experience as wonderful as the skiers!

Extension – Cinque Terre

Located on the coastal area of northwest Italy, this UNESCO World Heritage Site comprises five villages all part of Cinque Terre National Park. People have built houses up on the cliffs that overlook the Ligurian Sea. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages. The area is so pretty that it inspired a Disney movie, Luca. The “five lands" consist of photogenic fishing villages with candy-colored houses, cultivated with vineyards and olives.  With jaw-dropping views and photo opportunities at every turn, this is everything people love about Italy.

Flights are on Air Canada from Orlando with one stop in Toronto to Munich, return from Milan. Flights and times are subject to change. Important: No upgrades are allowed with the Economy Airfare. Also, neither skis nor snowboards are not allowed on Air Canada flights.
