This extensive ski resort in the Spanish Pyrenees is quite deservedly developing a reputation as a top class resort – the skiing is great, the slopes are snow sure and the food is a highlight. The ski resort Baqueira/Beret is located in Val d’Aran (Spain, Catalonia, Lleida).
For skiing and snowboarding, there is over 5,600 acres of skiing, from beginner to expert and 34 lifts to transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,471 m ~(4,800 ft) and 2,510 m (~8,150 ft).
The Baqueira Beret ski resort is one of the most well-known in Spain and is also one of the largest and best ski resorts in the Pyrenees. It stretches across Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. Due to the snow-reliable location, the ski season usually begins in November and goes until the end of April.
There will be many options available for non-skiers as well, including day trips (TBD- see sampling below), snowshoeing, snowmobiling, Audi driving experience, and dog sledding. Wine bars will of course be serving the infamous Spanish wines and numerous Spanish restaurants serving delicious Spanish dinners and tapas.
