ITINERARY:

Day 1 -Overnight Flight to Dublin

Day 2 - Dublin -Recover from travel today with no scheduled activities...enjoy time at your own pace and stroll the city streets, or relax in a traditional Irish pub and soak up that unmistakable Irish Charm.  Group dinner tonight with fellow travelers reveling in a traditional Irish evening, including regional cuisine. (D)

Day 3 - Dublin -Local Guide takes us to visit St. Patrick's Cathedral and see O'Connell Street and the historic Phoenix Park.  Afternoon is on your own to discover Dublin's charms. Later you may join an optional tour to the Guinness Storehouse, followed by dinner at a contemporary restaurant featuring Irish Cuisine. (B)

Day 4 - Dublin - Powerscourt - Waterford - Begin the day at Powerscourt Estate, where manicured gardens have inspired visitors for centuries. After visiting the gardens visit the on-site distillery, where Ireland's heritage for fine spirits is explained. A walking tour of Waterford, Ireland's oldest city is next on the agenda.  Then its your choice - Tour the Waterford Crystal factory and learn how Waterford crystal is made or Visit the Medieval Museum for a guided tour and a glass of wine in the 15th century Mayor's Wine Vault.(B,D)

Day 5 - Waterford - Blarney Stone - Killarney - The legend goes that those who kiss the Blarney Stone gain the gift of eloquence.  Give it a try is you wish at historic Blarney Castle, by navigating the 128 narrow steps to the top.  Cross into County Kerry and continue on to charming Killarney.  Tonight it's Diner's Choice - choose your included dinner from a selection of great restaurants.(B,D)

Day 6 - Killarney - Ring of Kerry - Killarney Take in the rugged coastline as you loop your way around the Ring of Kerry, past pristine beaches, quaint villages and majestic landscapes. Meet the local McGill family at their roadside artisan brewery and enjoy a taste of their finest beers. Top off the day back in Killarney with a ride in a traditional jaunting car.  Your evening is free to find your own authentic taste of Irish culture.(B)

Day 7 Killarney - Cliffs of Moher- Limerick - Today see the breathtaking 700 foot Cliffs of Moher for unbelievable views of the Atlantic.  Continue to Limerick and visit King John's Castle and the Treaty Stone. This evening you have the option of joining in a medieval banquet dinner hosted in a castle.(B)

Day 8 - Limerick -Galway - Pass through Burren known for its stark beauty and Neolithic tombs.  See collies in action during a traditional sheep dog demonstration. Explore the vibrant city of Galway and return to Limerick to relax over dinner with your fellow travelers.(B,D)

Day 9 - Limerick - Athlone - Kingscourt - Today we experience Ireland's ancient heartlands, and visit Athlone, strategically located on the banks of the River Shannon.  Step inside centuries of Irish history with a visit to Athlone Castle.  Afterwards enjoy freetime for a relaxed lunch or a stroll through its lively streets. Tonight enjoy an elegant dinner with your fellow travelers at the Cabra Castle. (B,D)

Day 10 - Kingscourt - Enjoy your free day on the stately grounds of Cabra Castle.(B)

Day 11 Kingscourt - Tour ends depart for journey home. (B)
